Day 61 – Lift Up Your Head

by

27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

Luke 21:27-28

God tells us what to do in challenging times. We must not live in fear but rather, ‘look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draws near’. As days become more terrible, the faith of the believer should become stronger. Isaiah 60 says ‘2for, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. 3And the Gentiles shall come to thy light’. It goes on to say that the appropriate action/ response as indicated in verse 4, ‘Lift up thine eyes round about, and see’.

Not only should you see that your light has come, but you must also see that all men are gathering unto you, and their hope is in the light that is upon you! In challenging times, the believer is the agent of solution for humanity’s problems! Therefore arise. Do not be short sighted nor be self-centred. First let your eyes open to the truth in God’s word to deal in every situation, then with that eye of faith, look into the darkness currently engulfing the world, identify your area of anointing (the area of your redemptive gift) and release the blessing that God has put in your spirit. Be the instrument of change. Manifest your light in the midst of darkness and humanity will be glad for you! Have a blessed and wonderful day in Jesus name, Amen.
