Day 135 – Your Shield and Buckler

‘He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.’ Psalm 91:4

The enjoyment of the fullness of the almighty God is based on the how much of the truth of the word of God has been imbibed and has been made part of your lifestyle. The NLT version says ‘His faithful promises are your armor and protection’. John 8:32 says ‘ye shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free’.

‘He shall cover thee with his feathers’ God promises to defend and protect you. Psalms 125:2 says: ‘As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.’ Proverbs 18:10 says: ‘The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.’ All we need to fight our battles and to defend ourselves is in the Word of God.

The key to the enjoyment of the fullness of God is getting the truth of the word God into your spirit man and walking upright before Him. The Lord has made every provision to help you, heal you, satisfy your needs, and protect you. You however, must know the provision in the word of God in these regard. Sow the seed of the word of God into your heart. The revelation of the word of God in your heart will satisfy and protect you today and forever, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
