Day 110 – The Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ

1-2 With the arrival of Jesus, the Messiah, that fateful dilemma is resolved. Those who enter into Christ’s being-here-for-us, no longer have to live under a continuous, low-lying black cloud. A new power is in operation. The Spirit of life in Christ, like a strong wind, has magnificently cleared the air, freeing you from a fated lifetime of brutal tyranny at the hands of sin and death. Romans 8:1-2 (MSG)

Condemnation weighs down on people’s hearts and minds, but the message today is saying that because of Christ this should come to an end. There is no condemnation for those who live in union with Christ. The devil is not happy with you being born again so he tries to bring back thoughts and memories of how you used to be, just to make you feel condemned. Do not allow it! Fight back with the Word and say “There is no condemnation for me because I am in Christ.” The blood of Jesus has already wiped away your past records and you are new person in the Lord. Read verse 2 above again now…

The law of sin and death brings sickness, weakness, and condemnation but the law of the spirit of life in Christ brings hope, healing, and deliverance. Declare to yourself “I live in a new law, the law of the spirit of life in Christ.” Face today with that in mind, and let your heart be established in this truth as you live your life going forward. May the Lord bless you in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Day 109 – Christ Has Redeemed Me

‘Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree’ Galatians 3:13

Today’s message again is a message of hope. By hanging on a tree for us, Christ has redeemed you and me from the curse of the law. Christ bought us back. The Message version says ‘Christ redeemed us from that self-defeating, cursed life, by absorbing it completely into himself…’ He never intended for us to partake of any part of the curse that sin brought, He absorbed everything to himself!

Verse 14 goes on to say ‘That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ…’ Blessing – the ability to be favoured. We have on us the blessing of Abraham. In short, Christ redeemed us from the curse so that we may have The Blessing. Today go by faith with the understanding that Christ has redeemed you from the curse that the law brought. You and I are now free to enjoy the fullness of The Blessing as God intended it to be in the first place. Praise God!

Day 108 – Delivered from Darkness and Translated into Light

‘Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son’. Colossians 1:13

‘He rescued us from the power of darkness and brought us safe into the kingdom of his dear Son’ Colossians 1:13 (GNT)

The bible says: ‘The entrance of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple’ (Psalm 119:130). When you get proper understanding of the word of God, they will change you, deliver you, and set you free.

The key words today are delivered and translated. Note the following:

  1. You have been delivered from the power of darkness.
  2. You have been translated into the kingdom of his dear Son.

As you face your day remember Jesus has not only rescued you from the power of darkness, he has also brought you, safe, into the kingdom of his dear son. Which means though you live physically in this world, the domain and sphere of your operation is in the kingdom of his dear son; where there is peace, righteousness, and joy in the Holy Spirit. The Lord has set you free from condemnation and the power of darkness. However, you and I need to consciously develop a mind-set and belief system that fits such position. You transact all your business from that stand point. Praise God!

Day 107 – Now Qualified to Partake in Our Inheritance in Christ

Giving thanks unto the Farther, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light’ Colossians 1:12

‘Giving thanks unto the Father, who made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light’ Colossians 1:12 (ASV)

‘… Thanking the Father who makes us strong enough to take part in everything bright and beautiful that he has for us.’ Colossians 1:12 (MSG)

You are now qualified to partake in the inheritance of the saints. Part of what Jesus received for the saints is: forgiveness for our sins, healings for our sicknesses, deliverance from oppression, and abundance of wealth for our poverty. Galatians 3:13 says: ‘Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the law’. These are part of the things that He settled on the cross of Calvary. It is your responsibility to meditate on this truth in order to partake in its fullness.

The good news is that as a believer, all these are part of your inheritance: healing, forgiveness, abundance, progress, deliverance; so, you must ensure you partake of these blessings. For you to enjoy these benefits, you need to stand on the word of God. Let the truth of the Word mix with your faith and as you declare them over your life and situations, light shines on you and your life responds accordingly. So, what are you waiting for? Take a few more minutes to meditate on these scripture further, then start declaring them.

Day 106 – You Have Received Forgiveness from Sin

‘In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins’ Colossians 1:14

The devil is described as the accuser of the brethren (Revelations 12:10), daily accusing us before God and also bringing condemnation in our heats. The devil’s aim is that we won’t be able to approach God with boldness to receive all He has for us. As believers, we must not allow this. We must remember this truth of God’s word – you have redemption through the blood of Jesus Christ; and you have received forgiveness for your sins. Do not allow the enemy to put you under any kind of condemnation. The power of the blood that was shed on the cross of Calvary is unquestionable and its efficacy is unfathomable.

The message version of this scripture says: ‘…the Son who got us out of the pit we were in, got rid of the sins we were doomed to keep repeating’. He has redeemed you through His blood; He has bought you back from the power of sin, and has given you forgiveness from the effect of the sins that you committed. Establish this truth in your heart – Jesus Christ did not go to the cross just for fun, He went to die for you and me!

Good News version says: ‘by whom we are set free, that is, Our Sins are forgiven’, praise God! If you have any besetting sin or sense of guilt in your life, stand on this scripture and establish your victory in Jesus name. Face your day and overcome in every temptation, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Day 105 – JESUS – Name Above Every Name

8And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:8-11

The message of today’s scripture is this – The name of Jesus is higher than ALL names.

Note the following:

  1. The sacrifice of Jesus on the cross earned Him a name above every name.
  2. When you pray in Jesus’ name, heaven promises to respond positively to you.
  3. When you give command in Jesus’ name, hell and earth respond to you accordingly.
  4. At the name of Jesus, every kneel bows to Him, and consequently to your command.
  5. So, the power behind your prayer in Jesus’ name is not you, but the name of Jesus.

With this understanding, face every of your spiritual battles with victory in mind; knowing that as you give commands in Jesus’ name, every kneel will bow. Your day is blessed.

Day 104 – Jesus Has Led Captivity Captive

8Wherefore he saith, When he ascended on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

Ephesians 4:8 (ASV)

Wow, this is yet another truth – This scripture is profound! Note the following:

  1. Jesus has already taken him that held you captive and led it captive.
  2. This means, He took your troubles and troubled them permanently.
  3. He therefore gave you freedom to live a life of peace and abundance!
  4. You are more than a conqueror through Christ, amen.

This truth should be applied in your daily warfare. A proper understanding of the truth about your situation puts you above every anxiety and stress, and also gives you boldness to move forward. However tough the situation you are facing, remember that Jesus has already won the victory for you. With that understanding, you then move forward boldly to challenge the devil and proclaim your victory.

Jesus already ‘…captured the enemy and seized the booty, He handed it all out in gifts to the people’ (Ephesians 4:8, MSG). So, take what belongs to you by faith. You are more than a conqueror through Jesus (Romans 8:37). Amen.

Day 103 – Jesus Destroyed Him That Had Power of Death

14Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; (KJV) 15 and in this way set free those who were slaves all their lives because of their fear of death. (GNB)

Hebrews 2:14-15

Here is another truth about the victory we received on the cross. Note the following points:

  1. Jesus destroyed him that had the power of death – i.e. the devil
  2. In this way, you became free from the fear of death. This fact must ring in your heart, and you need not fear the devil anymore.
  3. The devil – that had the power of death – has been destroyed!
  4. Consequently, those who were enslaved by fear of any kind have been set free.

Face each of your days with this revelation and understanding; deliberately confess it every day. Let it mix with your faith and thereby walk victoriously in life. Many people today are living under the fear of death, worried that the devil can destroy them. However, Jesus, when He went to the cross, destroyed the devil, that had the power of death. What is your responsibility? Declare this truth; fight the fight of faith with the understanding, and you are more than conqueror. Amen.

Day 102 – Jesus Stripped the Devil of His Power at the Cross

15And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it. Colossians 2:15

Note the following truth from this scripture:

  1. Jesus stripped the devil of his power on the cross
  2. Jesus also spoiled (destroyed) those powers and made them of none effect – on the cross
  3. Jesus made a public disgrace of spiritual rulers and authorities, leading them as captives in his victory procession!

You need to remember these and declare them during any warfare you are faced with. The devil also knows these facts too, and trembles when you declare them. These are the implications of these facts: the powers of the devil has been spoilt, the works of darkness has been destroyed, the power that brings sickness to your body has been destroyed, whatever could cause you to go into bankruptcy has been destroyed, the power that could cause your marriage to break has been destroyed.  So what must you do? You must declare these truth; you should face each of your days with the understanding that nothing can stop you, in Jesus’ name; that because Jesus went to the cross, you are able to win over all the battles of life.

Be strong in the victory that Jesus Christ received for you on the cross. This is your weapon for this day and always.

Day 101 – The Established Faith

1‘Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; 4And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the Scriptures:’

1 Corinthians 15:1-4

Let your faith be established on the truth of these verses of scripture. This is the gospel truth. Note the following points:

  1. Christ died for my sins according to the scriptures – and yours too!
  2. Christ was buried, and He rose again the third day, according to the scriptures.

Since we know that the scriptures are infallible, this truth should form the basis of your faith. Herein is the secret to your victory in life and spiritual warfare. It was on this passage that your foundation was set when you accepted Christ as your Lord and Saviour.

  1. Your sins are forgiven since you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and saviour.

Verse 2 of this scripture says we are saved if we keep this truth in memory! Declare this by faith again today, and you will experience victory in every area of your life. Remember, the scriptures cannot be broken. God bless your day.
